The Height-Adjustable Cantilever Platform with Loop Guardrails is a custom access platform based on SafeSmart’s cantilever platform design. It is configured for work areas where personnel need to establish a close working position alongside an elevated beam, structure, or equipment interface.
Unlike a platform that raises as one complete unit, this design allows the cantilever section itself to be raised up to 40 inches. This gives the operator flexibility to align the cantilever work area with the required access point while retaining the base platform arrangement.
A step-through gate at the cantilever section allows the operator to move from the platform into an area enclosed by the loop guardrail system. The loop guardrails surround the lifting-lug area, creating a defined access zone when the platform is positioned for the task.
Once the lifting equipment is connected, the operator can return to the cantilever platform and fold the loop guardrails back alongside the cantilever section, allowing the platform to be removed from the beam or structure.
SafeSmart should review the beam or structure geometry, required working height, lifting arrangement, clearance constraints, and operating sequence to confirm the appropriate platform configuration.
SafeSmart's custom cantilever platform combines a 40-inch height-adjustable cantilever section with a step-through gate and fold-back loop guardrails. It is designed to position personnel close to elevated beams and structures while providing a guarded transition into the work area.
