The SafeSmart ReachDeck is a custom aircraft maintenance platform designed to provide close access to restricted work areas over aircraft wings, engines, and other elevated components. Its adjustable-length cantilever section allows the deck to extend into areas that may be difficult to reach with a conventional straight-edge platform.

The larger working deck gives technicians space for tools, maintenance equipment, and service materials while establishing a dedicated work position near the aircraft. Each ReachDeck configuration can be tailored around the aircraft geometry, maintenance scope, available clearance, and required service area.

This platform was originally designed for F/A-18 Hornet maintenance access. SafeSmart can custom-configure the system for other aircraft and service applications where adjustable cantilever reach is required.
